Our Care Costs

All our care services vary in terms of cost and are entirely dependent on each individual’s specific needs. At Care in Hand, your or your loved one’s care needs will be determined during the initial personal assessment and a Care Plan and agreed payment method agreed.

 

Care In Hand is currently training health care assistants (HCA's) to deliver clinical care and provide a more affordable cost to the community and local health boards.  

 

Our basic rates* (excluding bank holidays) are inclusive of travel costs, and vary as follows:

Live in Care - from £686.00 per week on a single basis and from £850.00 per week for couples.

Hourly Care - £12.50 - £15.00 per hour for less intensive care.

Nursing / Complex Care - £15.00 - £23.00 per hour for a clinical health care assistant or qualified nurse.  

Sitting or Sleep in Night - £50.00 - £90.00 depending on duration.

 

Since 2007, we have been working with private and local authority referred clients via a direct debit payment basis, paying for care each month. We work closely with the local authority or partners to agree on the best payment methods and with Pembrokeshire Financial Advisers on financial planning for private clients (Approved Suppliers).
