Mental Health and Learning Disability Support Worker

  • Location: Haverfordwest and Fishguard, Pembrokeshire
  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Hours: 20 hours per week option to increase to 30
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday 9:00am to 5:30pm
  • Pay: From £13.45 per hour

 

About the role

Successful applicants will be supporting people with their activities, shopping, appointments and finances.

Type of conditions are learning disabilities, brain injury, autism, Asperger’s and mental health needs.

Essential requirements

To apply for this role, you must be able to answer yes to the following:

  • Do you have 6-month relevant experience?
  • Are you available to work 9:00am to 5:30pm?
  • Are you aged 25 or over?
  • Do you own a car and hold a valid driving licence?
  • Are you willing to upgrade your car insurance for work purposes?
  • Are you willing to drive both manual and automatic cars owned and insured by clients?
  • Are you willing to work in the Fishguard area?

  • Work Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
  • £13.45 per hour.
  • Travel time at £13.45 an hour.
  • Miles travelled paid at 45 pence per mile every fortnight.
  • Rest breaks in line with working time regulations.

  • Overtime may also be available.
  • Monthly pay 23rd of each month.
  • Bank holidays paid at time and a half and Double time on Christmas day.
