Home Care Assistant

  • Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week (4 shifts)
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday
  • Shift Times: 645am-2pm and/or 345pm-10pm
  • Pay: £13.45 per hour Monday to Friday, £13.71 on weekends

About the role

Successful applicants will be caring for older adults in their own homes.

Type of conditions: Physical Disabilities, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Sensory impairment.

Essential requirements

To apply for this role, you must be able to answer yes to the following:

  • Are you 18 or over?
  • Do you own a car and hold a valid driving licence?
  • Are you willing to upgrade your car insurance for work purposes?
  • Are you available to work 645am-2pm and/or 345pm-10pm?
  • Are you available to work 2 weekends a month?

  • Travel time between clients’ properties at £13.45 an hour.
  • Miles travelled between clients’ properties paid at 45p per mile every fortnight directly into your bank.
  • Rest breaks in line with working time regulations.
  • 2-week rota 2 weeks in advance.
  • Work locally majority of time in 1 of our 6 teams.
  • Additional payments for travelling out of local area.

  • Monthly pay 23rd of each month.
