Job Title: Care Assistant / Call Monitor Rate of pay: £23,400.00 – £23,608.00 per annum Hours of Work: 40 per week (8 hours x 5 shifts) Shift Pattern: 0600-1400 or 1400 – 2200 Monday to Sunday UK Driving Licence Required Minimum Qualification Preferred: QCF Level 2 or equivalent Minimum Care Experience Preferred: 2 or more years’ Location: Pembroke Dock, Narberth, Saundersfoot   We are currently recruiting Community Care Call Monitors to join our Call Monitoring team! The Call Monitor role will be office based, monitoring staff and clients visits using our web-based software, supporting staff in the field to arrive at client’s properties within a tolerable time frame and notifying clients of any changes to their visit time. You will be allocated a mentor who will provide all the necessary training including shift covering processes before the role starts and you will always be working alongside a senior person who will be able to support you every step of the way. Care In Hand is looking for hard-working individuals with a drive to learn and progress as a skilled care professional offering some of if not the highest-paid Domiciliary Care positions in the area. Previous experience in Domiciliary Care work preferred but not essential and full training will be given to guide you through the Call Monitoring aspects. These are full-time positions only and applicants are required to be fully flexible across the week, including evenings and weekends on rotation with the rest of the team. You are required to hold the full UK driving licence with use of your own car. The Domiciliary Care role in which you will already be familiar with having previous experience will include befriending, personal care, prompting medication, preparing meals, communicating with family members, and healthcare professionals. We are supporting with Social Care Wales Registrations to get you signed up and registered as a professional care worker and our on the job training will help you work your way up should you want to progress even further.
