Care In Hand’s Client Management System, also known as CM2000 is supplied to us by a company called The Access Group & HAS Technology Group. They started out as a small team of software developer supplying only the CallConfirmLive! care management system what we now know as CM2000. Since then they have expanded and joined forces with other companies to create the umbrella group they are today.
What does this group provide to Care In Hand?
They currently supply various systems to us that are all managed under the above umbrella company and these are:
- Client Management – CM2000
- CM Mobile – App
- e-MARS – Medication
- Access Training Management
- Access e-Learning – App
All of these listed above provide Care In Hand with a number of subsequent features contained within each system and enable us to manage the day to day running of our care service provision.
When did we first start using CM2000?
Initially we first started with CM2000 almost 15 years ago and since then, as you can imagine things have developed and requirements have changed. We have grown with these systems and added to them over the years working closely with the developers on old systems and new ones in all different areas and features that they each provide.
Why do we still use it today?
Under a new framework back in 2017 it then became a requirement of our contracts with local authorities to ensure that all service users calls were logged to enable correct and accurate monitoring of client call times and to ensure your safety when you are with service users that do not have phones. It was also a positive in regards to service users care and whether service users required increases or decreases to their care provision, enabling Social Services to monitor call duration’s and to assess the accuracy of those duration’s.
How does this relate to my work?
Our front-line care team is required to use our carer CM Mobile app to sign in/out of visits by scanning client tags located in the properties of our service users. The app will also supply you with your visit list for each shift along with any Medication requirements for each service user via the e-MARS system that is link to the app. The app is licensed and secure and does not store, save or copy any of your personal data therefore your own personal privacy is in no way compromised. The app permission requirements are shown to you at the point of install.
Where do I find the details I need to install?
